The New Collectable

Houston, Texas — Golf gloves have traditionally been treated as simple equipment: worn until they are no longer usable, replaced, and quickly forgotten. 7iron Golf believes they can represent something more.

Founded by former Division I college football player and passionate golfer JD Craigman, 7iron Golf was inspired by the culture, creativity, and excitement surrounding sneaker collecting.

As a longtime sneaker collector, Craigman understood that footwear could be more than something you wear. The right release could tell a story, complete an outfit, spark conversation, and create a genuine connection between a brand and its community.

When Craigman began searching for golf gloves that could complement his sneaker collection and personal style, he found very few options beyond traditional white and black designs. The gloves that featured more color often lacked the premium feel, performance, and versatility he wanted.

That gap became the foundation for 7iron Golf.

“I wanted to bring the excitement of sneaker culture into golf,” Craigman explains. “Sneaker collectors pay attention to the colors, materials, stories, hidden details, and release dates. I believe golf gloves can create that same feeling.”

7iron Golf is working to make the golf glove a collectible part of the golfer’s wardrobe. Through limited drops, distinctive colorways, hidden Easter eggs, and designs inspired by culture, nostalgia, and personal expression, each release is created to feel like more than another piece of equipment.

The goal is to build anticipation around every collection. Some releases may never return. Others may include subtle details that only the most engaged members of the community recognize. Each drop gives golfers a new opportunity to complete a look, collect a meaningful design, or own something that feels personal to them.

While the designs are created to stand out, performance remains at the center of every product. 7iron Golf gloves are made with premium materials and constructed to provide the feel, fit, grip, and durability golfers expect on the course.

“We are not creating gloves that simply look good in a display case,” Craigman says. “They still have to perform. The difference is that when the round is over, you may not want to throw them away.”

By combining premium performance with the energy of limited-edition sneaker releases, 7iron Golf is creating a new type of golf culture—one where gloves are collected, remembered, traded, and connected to the moments golfers experience while wearing them.

Every release tells a story.

Every detail matters.

Every drop rewards those who are paying attention.
